KAKEJIKU - Emerald Majesty

A unique, hand-painted hanging scroll, created live in my tattoo studio by Irregular Tattooer from Hong Kong.

The painting depicts a peacock sitting among loose branches and needle-like shapes. The bird's posture is calm and dignified, while the long tail feathers with green, blue, and yellow accents immediately draw attention. The expressive brushstrokes give the work movement and spontaneity without losing its elegant character.

The peacock often symbolizes beauty, pride, protection, renewal, and visible strength. In this work, that comes together beautifully: the bird is graceful, yet not fragile. The rough ink wash lines and color accents give the scroll a strong, almost tattoo-like energy.

The scroll is finished with light brocade fabric with a subtle pattern, brown edges, and a reddish-brown ribbon to roll up and close the scroll. The artist's signature/seal is visible on the left side of the painting.
